At the Humanoids Summit Silicon Valley 2025, Evan Wineland, co-founder of Weave Robotics, presents Isaac, a general-purpose robot designed to automate real-world tasks with high precision.

The robot is currently focused on folding laundry, handling garments with consistency and accuracy, including aligning items and ensuring correct orientation. The platform is built to expand into additional use cases such as hospitality and manufacturing.

Isaac uses a practical and cost-efficient hardware setup, including stereo and RGB cameras, fisheye wrist cameras, and parallel grippers. Different configurations are available, including versions with and without autonomous mobility.

The system is designed for reliability, operating over long periods while maintaining consistent performance across tasks.

Weave Robotics controls the full software stack, including data collection through teleoperation, model training, and deployment. The robot operates autonomously using vision-conditioned AI, allowing it to respond dynamically to real-world environments.

These robots are already deployed in businesses in San Francisco and are designed to be accessible for both large companies and smaller operations.

Key topics:

General-purpose robotics
Robotics in real-world applications
AI and computer vision
Automation in hospitality and manufacturing
Robotics deployment
