Flourish Robots has emerged from stealth with a $3,555 home robot designed around teachable household chores.
The company says owners can teach Flourish 1 a task in about 30 minutes using a mobile app, without coding, by physically demonstrating the task with a phone. Flourish 1 can then repeat and schedule the learned routine.
Flourish Robots lists household tasks including picking up shoes, clothes and toys; loading the dishwasher; wiping tables; watering plants; fetching items; and clearing a cat litter box.
The company opened preorders September 29 for its first 50 units at $3,555, with deliveries scheduled to begin in December 2026.
For future home-robot buyers, the combination of a relatively low purchase price and user-teachable chores is notable. But the important questions will be how reliably Flourish 1 performs after training, how well it handles changes in a real home, what happens when a task fails, and what service and support look like after delivery.
The takeaway for Humanoid Home News readers: Flourish 1 puts a concrete price, delivery window and teach-by-demonstration model behind the idea of a household robot. If the first units can repeat useful chores reliably in ordinary homes, the $3,555 launch could become an important affordability and usability milestone for consumer robotics.
