RoboStore is moving from robot distribution into U.S.-based robotics localization, integration and support.
Robo Inc. announced its public launch after a year in stealth, describing itself as a New York-based robotics manufacturing and systems integration company built to help organizations deploy practical robotic solutions in America.
The company says it will open a 66,000-square-foot facility on Long Island, New York, expected to be fully operational by Q1 2027.
The home angle is indirect but useful. Robo Inc. is not announcing a home humanoid robot. But its launch highlights a practical issue that will matter if humanoids are eventually sold into homes: robots need more than hardware. They need integration, safety testing, cybersecurity review, parts, repairs, service and long-term support.
Robo Inc. says its work will include U.S.-based engineering, software, integration, production, testing, service and support. It also says it is designing security and safety checkpoints into its integration process, including reviews of data flows, network access, software controls, operating environments and application-specific risks.
The takeaway for Humanoid Home News readers: Robo Inc.’s launch is not a consumer home-robot story by itself. But it points to a support gap that future home humanoid buyers should watch closely: who localizes, services, repairs, secures and supports robots after the sale?
